What is the Rose Bowl?

The Rose Bowl is an American outdoor athletic stadium and top US live music venue, located in Pasadena, California. Inaugurated in October of 1922, the venue is the 15th-largest stadium in the world.

The stadium is owned by the city of Pasadena and the Rose Bowl has also hosted five Super Bowl games. Since 1982, it has also served as the home stadium of the UCLA Bruins football team. The Rose Bowl is also a well known US soccer game stadium.

The Rose Bowl sits in the heart of Pasadena, a beautiful neighborhood 10 miles northeast of Downtown Los Angeles. The Rose Bowl is officially located at 1001 Rose Bowl Dr, Pasadena, CA 91103. Northwest of Old Pasadena vicinity, the Rose Bowl Stadium is located near the 210 and 134 freeways.

Should I drive to the Rose Bowl?

As the schedule at the Rose Bowl is typically in the evenings, the drive up to Pasadena from Los Angeles area can be delayed by heavy rush hour traffic. The drive can be a bit stressful and confusing, as there are a couple freeway connections on the way.
